Meet the Staff

The Learning Tree is organised into areas for different activities.

The Learning Tree proprietors are Janet Fitchett and Sharon Crolla. We originally set up the pre-school nursery in 1998 and still manage everything on a day to day basis. We both hold a Level 4 HNC in Early Childhood Studies and continue with ongoing professional development to keep fully up to date with current legislation and 'good' practice.

We have a strong team of highly experienced, qualified and committed staff, most of whom have been with us for many years. Our staffing team has expanded as The Learning Tree has developed and is currently 9 strong in total.

All members of staff either hold a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification or are studying towards further professional development. A high proportion of the team hold certificates in:
